At last! I've finished up my Winterwoods cross-stitch sampler (or nearly finished, I still need to press out those last few creases and frame it). I love this pattern -- As I stitched through last summer, fall and winter, I imagined myself sitting in that cottage, putting on my yellow kettle, knitting some darling pink mittens while wearing a pair of hunter boots. (Sometimes you gotta imagine winter to be cozy to get you through those dark cold Canadian days).
I certainly made a few mistakes but my amateur eye can't really pick them up and I'm more than pleased to have finished.
(p.s. Anyone have any tips on how to get out stubborn creases on linen? I've tried spraying a tea towel and placing it over top and ironing and ironing and ironing but the wrinkles are refusing to budge.)

I. Love. This. I can't wait to see it framed and hanging on a wall! You did a spectacular job! xoxo
So lovely! You did a great job!
Oh Ms Tee Kay! While you stitched, you sat by the window with the pretty snowflakes falling quietly outside and settling on the boughs of the evergreens. A sweet bunny hopped by, and the smoke from under your yellow kettle curled up into the cloudy sky. Lots of hard work, but something that will be treasured through the ages. Well done!
And I can comment again! Yee haw!
Just lovely! I'm a big fan of Alicia's designs and you've stitched up this sampler perfectly!
